This covered topics such as trade multiples, transaction multiples, types of bonds, trade finance etc. There was adequate exposure to each CIB division, and by the end of the week I had a better idea of which division I wanted to pursue.ĭeutsche provided the CIB interns with pre-internship online training materials. Overall, the spring week was very well planned and organised. By the end of the 4th day, you have to choose which division within CIB, Infrastructure or Technology you want interview for in the assessment centre. The spring week ran for 5 days: first 2 days were introduction presentations to the different divisions in CIB, next 2 days were spent work shadowing, and the last day was the assessment centre. The other half of the cohort were in either Infrastructure (aka middle office) or Technology. ![]() If you pass the online assessments, you move onto a telephone interview, which had a mix of technical and competency questions.ĭeutsche’s total spring week intake was around 80 students, but only around 40 were in Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB). Then Deutsche will send you several online assessments - logic, maths, and verbal reasoning tests. You fill in a typical online application form and upload your CV and cover letter.
